Tomato Chutney

Ingredients:

Tomato. 2 big(3 small)

Oil 3 tsp

Mustard seeds. 1 tsp

Channa dal. 1 tsp

Urad dal. 1 tsp

Asafoetida powder. 1/2 tsp

Curry leaves 8 to 10

Green chilly 2

Chilly powder. 1 tsp

Salt for taste


Method:

Grind tomatoes in the blender and keep aside.

In the pan, pour oil ,once it is hot, add mustard seeds.

Once it get crackled ,add channa dal, urad dal ,assfoetida powder, fry it .

Add curry leaves, green chilly, fry it.

Add ground tomato paste, chilly powder, salt and cover cook for 10 mins in medium flame.

Don't add water, Stir in between.

Once oil separates in the top, switch off the flame .

Easy Tomato Chutney is ready to serve with idly or dosa.
