
Ingredients:
Rice flour 2 cups
Urad dal flour 2 tsp(Fry urad dal without oil, grind into powder)
Chana dal 2 tsp
Chilly powder 2 tsp (adjust the powder according to your taste)
Asafoetida Powder little
Melted butter 2 tsp
Salt for taste
Oil for frying.
Method:
Soak the chana dal in water for 30 mins .
In the bowl,Mix rice flour, urad dal flour, chana dal( without water), chilly powder, asafoetida powder, butter and salt ,mix everything together.
Add little water, make a dough.
Make a small ball from dough and press flatly with help of little oil in your hands or press it with parchment paper.
Heat the frying pan, pour oil, fry the thatai in the both side.
Repeat the process for remaining dough.
Keep it the airtight container and crunchy evening snack is ready.
