Ribbon Pakota

Ingredients:

Rice flour 1 1/2 cup

Roasted channa dal 1/2 cup (pottu kadalai)

Besan flour 1/2 cup

Chilly powder 2 tsp

Asafoetida powder 1/4 tsp

Melted Butter. 2 tsp

Salt for taste

Oil for frying


Method:

Grind pottu kadalai into powder and keep aside

Sieve rice flour ,pottu kadalai flour ,besan flour ,chilly powder ,asafoetida powder and salt.

Add melted butter and mix it well.

Add water and make a dough.

In Murruku maker ,take ribbon pakota plate.

Grease oil inside ,Keep the dough ,and press directly in the hot oil.

Fry it till becomes golden color and remove from heat.

Repeat the process.

Once it cooled down, put it in the airtight container and use by 1 week.

Easy evening snack Ribbon Pakota is ready.
