Semiya Custard

Ingredients:

Semiya 1 cup

Milk 4 cups + 1/2 cup

Sugar 1/2 cup

Saffron stands. 1 tsp

Mixed Nuts 2 to 4 tsp

Custard powder 2 tsp

Ghee 2 tsp


Method:

In the pan, pour ghee ,once it melted ,add mixed nuts ,I used almonds ,cashews and pista.

Fry till it gets golden color and remove from heat.

In the same pan, add semiya ,fry till it gets golden color and remove from heat.

Mix 2 cups custard powder in the 1/2 cup of milk and keep aside.

In the same pan, pour 4 cups of milk ,add saffron ,boil for 10 mins.

Add roasted semiya ,mix it well.

Add sugar , mix it well.

Let it cook in medium low flame for 10 mins.

Add custard mixture and roasted nuts ,stir continuously for 1 min.

Now Semiya Custard is thicken ,Switch off the flame.

Refrigerate for 2 hours and Serve Chill.
