
Ingredients:
Tomato 3
Onion 1/2
Red chilly 4
Garlic 4
Fried gram dal/
Pottu kadai 1 tsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Urad dal 1 tsp
Curry leaves little
Oil 2 tsp
Salt for taste.
Method:
In the pan, pour 1 tsp of oil, add red chilly, chopped garlic and fry for few seconds.
Add chopped onions, fry till it becomes translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and cover cook till it becomes soft and juicy(Do not add water).
Add pottu kadai,salt and stir it well, switch off the flame.
Grind all the ingredients, make a smooth paste and keep aside.
For tempering, pour 1 tsp oil, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and pour it to the chutney.
Now Tomato Chutney is ready.
