Simple Potato Fry

Ingredients:

Potato 1/2 kg

Onion 1

Mustard seeds 1 tsp

Cumin seeds 1 tsp

Curry leaves little

Asfoetida powder little

Coriander leaves little

Chilly powder 1 tsp

Sambar powder 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Fennel seed powder 1/2 tsp

Oil 3 tsp

Salt for taste.


Method:

In the pan ,pour oil ,add mustard seeds, once it crackled add cumin seeds and fry it.

Add chopped onion ,curry leaves and fry it gets translucent.

Add chopped coriander leaves, asfoetida powder, and fry it.,

Add chopped potatoes and mix it well.

Add Chilly powder, sambar powder, turmeric powder, fennel seed powder, salt, mix it well.

Cover cook the potatoes in low flame for 10 to 15 mins and stir in between,

Switch off the flame, once masala is coated into the potatoes and roasted well.
