Reshmi Chicken Masala

Ingredients:


For Marination:

Chicken with Bone 3/4 kg

Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

Curd 1/4 cup

Chilly powder 1 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Cumin powder 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder. 1/4 tsp

Lemon juice 2 tsp

Coriander leaves little

Salt for taste


Charcoal 1

Ghee 1 tsp


For the onion paste:

Onion 1

Green chilly 4

Cashew 12 to 15

Oil 2 tsp


For Masala:

Oil 2 tsp

Cloves 3

Cardamom 3

Staranise 1

Kasthuri methi 1 tsp

Garam masala 1 tsp

Whipping cream 2 tsp

Salt for taste.


Method:

Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, curd ,chilly powder ,coriander powder ,cumin powder, turmeric powder ,lemon juice ,coriander leaves ,salt for 10 mins.

In the hot char coal ,add ghee and put it in the marination bowl for 5 mins & seal it ,then remove the coal.

In the pan ,pour oil, add sliced onions ,green chilly ,mix it well ,add cashew and cook for 2 mins.

Remove from heat, once it cooled down, add some water ,ground into paste and keep aside.

In the same pan, pour oil , add cloves ,cardamon ,star anise ,fry it .

Add ground onion paste ,cook for 2 mins.

Add marinated chicken ,mix it well.

Add kasthuri methi ,garam masala ,required salt ,mix it well.

Cover cook the chicken for 15 mins in medium flame.

Add whipping cream ,1 cup of water and cover cook for 10 mins.

Once Masala is cooked well, switch off the flame.

Reshmi Chicken Masala is ready to serve with Roti/Chappathi.
