
Ingredients:
Rava 1 cup
Water 3 1/2 cup
Sugar 1 1/4cup
Ghee 4 tsp
Refined oil 2 tsp
Orange color 1/4 tsp
Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Nuts for your choice 2 tsp
Method:
Roast nuts in the 1 tsp of ghee and keep aside.
Usually cashew and raisins used for kesari, i do not have raisins, so substituted with almonds. In the same pan, pour 1 tsp of ghee, add rava, without changing the color ,roast in low flame & keep aside.
In the pan, pour 3 1/2 cup of water, add orange color,2 tsp ghee, and 2 tsp oil.
Once it started to boil, add roasted rava and stir well, so no lumps formed.
Once water absorbed and rava cooked well, add 1 1/4 cup of sugar and mix well.
Last add cardamom powder, roasted nuts, mix well and serve hot.
