Peanut Chutney

Ingredients:

Peanut 1/2 cup

Green chilly 3

Tamarind little

Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp

Fried gram 1/4 cup

Garlic 2

Oil 1 tsp

Salt for taste


For tempering:

Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp

Urad dal 1/2 tsp

Curry leaves 5

Red chilly 1

Oil 1 tsp


Method:

In 1 tsp of oil, fry peanut and green chilly for few mins.

In the blender, add fried peanuts, green chilly, tamarind, cumin seeds, fried gram, garlic,

salt, required water and grind into smooth paste.

For tempering ,in the hot oil ,add mustard seeds ,once it crackled ,add urad dal,

curry leaves, red chilly and fry for few seconds and add it to the chutney.

Peanut Chutney is ready to serve with Dosa/Idly.
