
Ingredients:
Rice flour 1/2 cup
Hot water 1/2 cup
Milk 4 cup
Water 1 cup
Coconut milk 1/4 cup
Sugar 5 tsp
Grated coconut 2 tsp
Ghee 1/2 tsp
Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Saffron little
Salt little
Method:
Knead rice flour, salt with hot water, and make soft dough.
Take small portion ,make a ball and repeat to all dough & keep aside.
In 1/2 tsp ghee, fry grated coconut with little sugar, keep aside.
In the wide pan, boil milk and 1 cup of water.
Once milk started to boil, add rice ball one by one, cook for 15 to 20 mins.
Now milk reduced to half, rice ball also cooked well.
Add sugar, mix it well.
Add cardamom powder, saffron, cook for 2 mins.
Add fried coconut, mix it well.
Last add coconut milk, boil for 1 min and switch off the flame.
Paal Kolukattai is ready to serve.
