Mutton Gravy

Ingredients:

Mutton 1/2 kg

Onion 1

Tomato 1

Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

Bay leaves 1

Cinnamon stick 1

Star anise 2

Cloves 3

Cardamom 2

Chilly powder 1 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Garam masala powder 1 tsp

Oil 2 tsp

Salt for taste.


Method:

In the pressure cooker, pour oil, add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, star anise, cloves, cardamom and fry it.

Add chopped onions, fry till becomes translucent.

Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 30 seconds.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook it becomes soft.

Add cleaned mutton, turmeric powder and stir it well.

Add chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt and mix it well.

Add 2 cups of water, mix it well.

Pressure cook the mutton for 4 to 5 whistles or until soft.

Yummy Mutton gravy is ready to serve Idly/Chapathi/Parrotta/Rice.
