Mutton Chukka

Ingredients:

Boneless mutton 1/4 kg

Onion 1

Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp

Red chilly 2

Cinnamon stick 1

Star anise 1

Cardamom 2

Cloves 3

Biryani leaf 1

Curry leaves little

Coriander leaves little

Mint leaves little

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Chilly powder 1/2 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Mutton masala powder 1 tsp

Pepper powder 1 tsp

Fennel seed powder 1/4 tsp

Oil 4 tsp

Salt for taste


Method:

Pressure cook the mutton with water for 5 to 6 whistles or until soft.

In the pan, pour oil, add fennel seeds, red chilly, cinnamon stick, star anise, cardamom,

cloves, biryani leaf, fry it.

Add chopped onion, cook till it becomes translucent.

Add ginger garlic paste ,curry leaves, coriander leaves, mint leaves and mix it well.

Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder, mutton masala powder, pepper powder, fennel seed powder, salt, little water/mutton stock and cook for few mins.

Add cooked mutton, combine well, and cover cook for few more mins.

Switch off the flame, masala coated to mutton and dry.

Tasty Mutton Chukka is ready to serve with rice.
