
Ingredients:
Chicken 1/2 kg
Ghee 3 tsp
Curd 1 cup
Onion 1
Cardamom. 2
Cinnamon. 1
Cloves 3
Salt for taste.
For red paste:
Red chilly 5
Green Chilly 3
Ginger 1 inch
Garlic cloves 5
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Coriander seeds. 1 tsp
Method:
In the pan, add 1 tsp ghee, add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and chopped onions.
Once it gets translucent ,remove from heat and mix it with curd and keep aside.
Make a paste of Red chilly, green chilly, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder and coriander seeds with little water and keep aside. Red paste is ready.
In the pan, add 1 tsp of Ghee, add red paste ,brings to boil.
Add chicken pieces and cover cook for 10 mins.
Now add curd mixture ,salt and 1 cup of water (if need)cover cook for 10 more mins.
Switch off the flame once chicken is fully cooked ,gravy is thicken and ghee separates in the top.
Mugali Chicken Masala is ready to serve hot.
