Hyderbadi Chicken Curry

Ingredients:

Chicken 1/2 kg

Onion 2

Cardamom 3

Bay leaves 2

Aniseed 2

Star Anise 2

Cinnamon 2

Shahjeera 1/2 tsp

Garam masala 1/2 tsp

Coconut milk 1 cup

Oil 2 tsp

Mint leaves 1/4 cup

Coriander leaves 1/4 cup

Salt for taste.


For marination:

Chilly powder 2 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Garam masala 1/2 tsp

Ginger garlic paste. 1 tsp

Curd 2 tsp

Oil 2 tsp

Green Chilly 2

Salt little



Method:

Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients for 1 hour.

In the pan, heat the oil ,add all spicy items(cardamom ,bay leaf, aniseed, star anise ,cinnamon ,shah jeera) one by one.

Add sliced onion ,cook it becomes translucent.

Add marinated chicken and cook in medium heat for 5 mins.

Add chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves and cover cook for 5 mins.

Add coconut milk,garam masala ,salt and cover cook in low heat for 10 to 15 mins.

Now Hyderabadi chicken Curry is ready to serve with rice/chapathi.
