
Ingredients:
Chicken 1/2 kg
Tomato 1
Kasmiri Chilly Powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Fennel seed powder 1 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Salt for taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Onion Paste:
Onion 1
Cinnamon stick 1
Star anise 1
Cloves 2
Garlic 10 to 12
Ginger 1 inch
Curry leaves 10 to 12
Oil 2 tsp
Method:
In the pan, pour oil ,add all items in onion paste and fry it.
Once onions are golden brown, cool it ,grind into paste and keep aside.
In the same pan, add oil ,pour ground paste ,cook for 2 mins.
Add chopped tomatoes, mix it well.
Add kasmiri chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, fennel seed powder ,turmeric powder ,salt, stir it well and cook for 5 to 10 mins.
Add cleaned chicken ,mix it well and cook for 2 mins.
Add 1 cup of water and cover cook for 15 to 20 mins.
Now the chicken cooked well ,masala coated into chicken and oil separates.
Switch off the flame, garnish with coriander leaves, serve with rice/chapathi.
