Easy Rice Phirni

Ingredients:

Milk 1 liter

Sugar 1/4 cup(adjust according to your taste)

Basmati Rice 1/4 cup

Saffron little

Cardamom powder little

Ghee 4 tsp

Mixed nuts Handful


Method:

Soak basmati rice for 30 mins, drain it and dry for few mins.

Grind into coarse powder and keep aside.

In the wide pan ,add 1 tsp ghee ,add milk and bring to boil.

Once boiled add ground rice and cook for 20 to 25 mins.

Stir in between to avoid sticking into the bottom.

Now the rice is cooked and milk also reduced to half.

Add sugar and cook for 5 more mins.

Add saffron stands, cardamom powder and let it boil for another 5 mins.

In another pan, Pour 3 tsp of ghee, Roast mixed nuts ,add it to Rice phirni.

Switch off the flame, Garnish with some more nuts, Serve Hot/Cold.
