Easy Potato Fry

Ingredients:

Potato 4

Onion 1

Mustard seeds 1 tsp

Urad dal 1 tsp

Curry leaves little

Asafoetida powder 1/4 tsp

Chilly powder 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Oil 2 tsp

Salt for taste.


Method:

Peel the potato skin, cut into small cubes and keep aside.

In the pan, pour oil, add mustard seeds ,once it crackled add urad dal, curry leaves, chopped onion and fry for a minute.

Add chopped potatoes ,chilly powder, asafoetida powder, tumeric powder, salt and mix well.

Cook the potatoes in low flame for 20 to 25 mins and stir in-between.

Easy Potato Fry is ready to serve with hot steamed rice.
