Coconut Chutney

Ingredients:

Fresh Coconut slices 1 cup

Roasted gram 2 tsp

Green chilly 2

Ginger 1/2 inch

Garlic 3 to 4

Salt for taste.


For tempering:

Oil 2 tsp

Mustard seeds 1 tsp

Urad dal 1/2 tsp

Red chilly 2

Curry leaves 6 to 8


Method:

Grind coconut ,roasted gram ,green chilly ,ginger ,garlic ,salt ,little water together ,make paste & keep aside.

For tempering ,in the frying pan , pour oil ,add mustard seeds ,once it crackled , add urad dal, red chilly ,curry leaves and fry it for few seconds .

Add the tempering to chutney ,mix it well.

Easy restaurant style coconut chutney is ready to serve with dosa or idly.
