Potato Masala Curry

Ingredients:

Potato 3 to 4

Onion 1

Tomato 1

Ginger 1 tsp (Chopped)

Garlic 1 tsp(Chopped)

Cumin seeds 1 tsp

Bay leaves 1

Cinnamon 1

Cloves 3

Cardamom 1

Hing 1/4 tsp

Green chilly. 2

Chilly powder 1 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Turmeric powder. 1/2 tsp

Garam masala 1 tsp

Kasthuri methi 1 tsp

Oil 2 tsp

Ghee 1 tsp

Butter 1 tsp

Coriander leaves for garnishing.


Method:

Pressure cook the potatoes for 3 to 4 whistles.

Peel the skin ,smash it and keep aside.

In the pan ,pour oil and ghee ,add bay leaves ,cardamom, cloves ,cardamom ,cumin seeds ,hing ,green chilly and mix it well.

Add ginger and garlic ,fry for few seconds.

Add finely chopped onions ,fry it becomes translucent.

Add chilly powder ,coriander powder , turmeric powder ,garam masala ,mix it well.

Add chopped tomatoes , cook for few seconds.

Add kasthuri methi ,salt ,mashed potatoes and mix it well.

Add 2 1/2 cup of water ,mix it ,cover cook for 10 to 15 mins in medium flame.

Garnish with coriander leaves and 1 tsp butter and serve hot with Poori/Chappathi/Bhatura.
