Chicken Tikka for Naan

Ingredients:

Boneless Chicken 1/2 kg

Onion 1

Tomato 2

Ginger paste 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1 tsp

Garlic powder 1 tsp

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Chilly powder 1 tsp

Butter 2 tsp

Salt for taste.


For Marination:

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Cinnamon powder 1/4 tsp

Chilly powder 1 tsp

Pepper powder 1 tsp

Ginger paste 1 tsp

Curd 3 tsp

Lemon juice 2 tsp

Oil 2 tsp

Salt little


Method:

Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients for 5 to 6 hours/over night.

Grind tomatoes into fine paste without adding water & keep aside.

In the pan, pour oil, add chopped onions ,cook until it becomes translucent.

Add all powders ,chilly powder , coriander powder, cumin powder ,garam masala ,turmeric powder, garlic powder, ginger paste ,butter, fry for some seconds.

Add ground tomato paste and salt, let it cook in medium flame for 4 to 5 mins.

In another pan, cover cook the marinated chicken for 10 to 15 mins.

Once the chicken is cooked, add the chicken to the masala paste, mix it well.

Add 1 cup of water and cover cook for 5 to 10 mins in low flame.

Once oil is separated, switch off the flame.

Now Chicken Tikka is ready to serve with naan.
