Chicken Manchurian

Ingredients:


Boneless Chicken 1/2 kg

All purpose flour 2 tsp

Corn flour 2 tsp

Egg 1

Vinegar 1 tsp

Onion 1

Capsicum 1

Green chilly 2

Garlic 5 to 6

Tomato Ketchup 2 tsp

Soy sauce 1 tsp

Chilly Garlic sauce 2 tsp

Sugar 1 tsp (Optional)

Red food color a pinch(Optional)

Spring onion chopped little

Salt for taste

Oil for frying.


Method:

Marinate the chicken with all purpose flour, cornflour, egg, vinegar and half salt for 1 hour.

Heat the oil in the pan, fry the marinated chicken until it is well tender.

Drain the excess oil from chicken and keep aside.

In the pan ,pour 1 tsp of oil ,Chopped garlic, green chilly, chopped onions, cook till translucent.

Add chopped capsicum ,fry for 2 mins.

Now add tomato ketchup, soy sauce, chilly garlic sauce, food color, sugar, 1 cup of water ,mix it well, and bring it to boil.

Add Fried chicken pieces, salt and slow cook till all the sauce is fully absorbed with the chicken.

Once the gravy is thick, garnish with chopped spring onions and serve it with fried rice.
