Chicken Gravy 3

Ingredients:

Chicken 1/2 kg

Onion 2

Tomato 2

Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp

Coconut milk 1 cup

Red chilly 8

Cumin seeds 2 tsp

Coriander seeds 2 tsp

Pepper 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Oil 3 tsp

Salt for taste

Coriander leaves for garnishing.


Method:

Fry chopped onions in 1 tsp of oil for 2 mins and keep aside.

Grind cooked onions, chopped tomatoes, red chilly, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, pepper, gin.gar.paste with little water and make a paste.

In the cooker, pour 2 tsp of oil, add masala paste, cook until raw smell gone.

Add chicken, turmeric powder, salt ,little water and cover cook for 5 mins.

Add coconut milk and close the lid.

Pressure cook for 2 to 3 whistles/ cover cook for 2o mins .

At last garnish with coriander leaves and Chicken Gravy is ready to serve.

I learned this recipe from my chithi.

It is the perfect gravy for parotta, chappthi or dosa.
