
Ingredients:
Chicken 1/2 kg
Cloves 2
Cardamom 2
Bay leaves 1
Staranise 1
Onion 1
Green chilly 1
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Kasmiri Chilly powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Kasthuri methi 1/2 tsp
Oil 3 tsp
Salt for taste
Tomato paste:
Tomato 1
Red chilly 4
Cashew nuts 10 to 12
Method:
Clean the chicken pieces & keep aside.
Chop onions , green chilly & keep aside.
Fry red chilly and cashew for few seconds and grind into powder.
Add chopped tomatoes and grind it together.
Now Tomato paste is ready.
In the pan, pour oil ,add cloves ,star anise ,cardamom, bay leaves ,fry for few seconds.
Add chopped onions ,cook it becomes translucent.
Add chopped green chilly ,fry it.
Add ginger garlic paste ,fry it for few seconds.
Add kasmiri chilly powder , coriander powder , turmeric powder ,fry till raw smell gone.
Add 1/4 cup of water , cook for 1 min.
Add chicken pieces and mix it well .
Add tomato paste ,salt ,1 cup of water and cover cook for 15 to 20 mins in low medium flame.
Once the gravy is semi thick & oil separated in the top ,add garam masala powder , cook for 2 mins.
Last add crushed kasthri methi , mix it once , & switch off the flame.
Yummy Tasty Restaurant Style Chicken Gravy is ready to serve with chappathi/roti.
