
Ingredients:
Chicken 3/4 kg
Ghee 3 tsp
Onion 1
Curry leaves little
Gin.Gar.Paste 1 tsp
Tamarind water 2 tsp
Jaggery powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Red color a pinch
Curd 3 tsp
Salt for taste.
Roast and Grind:
Red Chilly 5
Coriander seeds 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
Pepper corns 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Cloves 3
Method:
Dry Roast all the items in the pan and keep aside.
In the blender, add all roasted items, ginger garlic paste, tamarind water, jaggery powder ,little water and grind it to the paste.
Mix the ground masala paste with curd ,turmeric powder, red color, salt.
Now add chicken, marinate for 1 hour.
In the pan, pour ghee, once melted add chopped onions ,cook till it gets translucent.
Add marinated chicken and cover cook for 20 to 30 mins.Stir in between,
Last add curry leaves and Chicken Ghee Curry is ready.
