Chicken Chukka

Ingredients:

Boneless Chicken 1/2 kg

Curd 2 tsp

Chilly powder 1 tsp + 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Pepper powder 1 tsp

Garam masala 1/2 tsp

Curry masala powder. 2 tsp

Onion 1

Tomato 1

Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

Cardamom 2

Cinnamon stick 1

Cloves 2

Curry leaves Handful

Gingelly oil 3 tsp

Salt for taste

Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing


Method:

Marinate the boneless chicken with 1 tsp of chilly powder ,turmeric powder ,curd & salt for 30 mins .

Chop onions and tomatoes ,keep aside.

In the pan, pour oil ,add cloves ,cardamom ,cinnamon stick ,curry leaves ,fry it.

Add chopped onions and cook till becomes translucent.

Add ginger garlic paste, mix it well.

Add chopped tomatoes ,cook it becomes soft.

Add 1 tsp chilly powder, coriander powder ,cumin powder ,pepper powder ,garam masala ,curry masala ,salt and mix it well.

Add 1/2 cup of water ,cook for 5 mins.

Add marinated chicken ,and cover cook for 5 mins.

Add 1 cup of water and cover cook for 10 to 15 mins in low medium flame, stir in between.

Once chicken is dry and masala coated into chicken,Switch off the flame.

Last garnish with coriander leaves ,mix it once and serve hot.

Yummy Chicken Chukka is ready to serve with rice/Chapathi.
