Chicken Cashew Curry

Ingredients:


For Chicken Marination:

Chicken 1/2 kg

Chilly powder 1 tsp

Garam masala 1 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Ginger garlic paste. 1 tsp

Salt for taste.


For Cashew gravy:

Onion 2

Green chilly 4

Chilly powder 1 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Garam masala 1 tsp

Cashew nuts 25 gm

Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp

Oil 2 tsp

Salt for taste


Method:

Marinate the chicken for 15 to 30 min.

Fry chicken in the oil ,till it gets golden brown and keep aside.

Or Cover cook the chicken for 15 mins and keep aside

Soak cashew nuts in the water, make a fine paste.

In the pan, pour oil, add sliced onion, green chilly, and cook for few mins.

Then, add chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and fry for few seconds.

Add tomato ketchup, 1/2 cup water and cook for 5 min in medium flame.

Now add cooked chicken, cashew paste, required salt,1 cup of water .

Cover cook the chicken in medium low for 1o to 15 mins.

Once oil separates ,Switch off the flame.

Chicken Cashew Curry is ready to serve with hot naan, chapatti or parotta.
