Capsicum Chicken Curry

Ingredients:


Boneless Chicken 1/2 kg

Red Capsicum 1/2

Yellow Capsicum 1/2

Onion 1

Tomato 1

Garlic 4

Green chilly 2

Chilly powder 1/2 tsp

Kasmiri chilly powder 1/2 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Garam masala 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Pepper powder 1/2 tsp

Oil 4 tsp

Salt for taste

Coriander leaves for garnishing


For marination:

Pepper powder 1 tsp

Egg 1

Soy sauce 1 tsp

Corn flour 1 tsp

Salt little


Method:

Marinate the chicken with pepper powder, egg ,soy sauce, corn flour, with little salt for 30 mins.

In the pan, add 2 tsp of oil, cook the chicken for 10 to 12 mins. Stir in between.

Once it 80% cooked, switch off the flame and keep aside.

In the another pan, add 2 tsp oil, add chopped garlic ,fry for few seconds.

Add sliced onion ,green chilly ,cook it becomes translucent .

Add chopped tomatoes, chilly powder, kasmiri chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder,1 cup of water and salt ,cook for 5 to 10 mins.

Once masala smell is gone, add cooked chicken, and mix it well.

Add capsicum and cover cook for 5 mins.

Now oil separates and the gravy reduced to half.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it for roti/chappathi.
