
Ingredients:
Chicken 1/2 kg
Onion 1
Tomato 2
Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
Kasmiri chilly powder 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Red chilly 2
Curd 3 tsp
Oil 4 tsp
Salt for taste
For marination:
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Garam masala 1/4 tsp
Fennel seed powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Salt little
Method:
Add all marination items in the cleaned chicken pieces ,marinate for 30 mins.
Chop the onions and keep aside.
Grind tomatoes and keep aside.
Whisk the curd and keep aside.
In the pan, add 2 tsp oil, add marinated chicken and cook for 4 to 5 mins & keep aside.
In the same pan, add 2 tsp oil, add cumin seeds, red chilly and fry it.
Add chopped onions, cook it becomes brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and mix it well
Add tomato paste, cook for 2 to 3 mins.
Add half cooked chicken, mix it well.
Add kasmiri chilly powder, salt ,cook for a minute.
Add whisked curd, mix it well.
Cover cook the chicken masala for 6 to 8 mins.
Check and stir in between to avoid sticking to the bottom.
Once oil separates, garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
Bhuna Chicken is ready to serve with rice/chapathi.
