Semiya Upma

Ingredients:

Semiya 1 cup

Onion 1

Green chilly 2

Ginger little

Curry leaves little

Mustard seeds 1 tsp

Urad dal 1 tsp

Channa dal 1 tsp

Ghee 1 tsp

Oil 1 tsp

Salt for taste.


Method:

Dry roast the semiya in low flame for 5 mins and keep aside.

In the pan, pour oil, add mustard seeds, once it crackled .add urad dal, channa dal.

Fry it for few seconds, add chopped onion, green chilly, ginger and curry leaves, fry it.

Add 2 1/2 cup of water, bring to boil.

Add roasted semiya ,salt and mix it well.

Cover cook in low flame for 10 mins.

Now the semiya is cooked and all water is absorbed.

Last add 1 tsp of ghee, switch off the flame and cover it for 5 mins.

Quick & Easy Semiya Upma is ready.
