Ingredients:
Green peas 1 cup
Onion 1/2
Tomato 1
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Ural dal 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds. 1/2 tsp
Green chilly 1
Curry leaves little
Chilly powder. 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Curry masala powder. 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Salt for taste
Method:
In the pan, pour oil ,add mustards seeds ,cumin seeds ,urad dal ,& fry it.
Add chopped green chilly ,curry leaves ,fry it.
Add chopped onions ,cook till it become translucent.
Add chilly powder ,coriander powder ,curry masala powder ,turmeric powder ,fry it.
Add chopped tomatoes ,cook it becomes soft.
Add green peas ,salt ,mix it well.
Add 1 cup of water, cover cook for 10 to 15 mins in medium flame.
Once green peas is cooked & masala is dry ,switch off the flame.
Green peas poriyal is ready to serve with dal rice.
