
Ingredients:
Basmati rice 2 cup
Garlic crushed 15 to 20
Green chilly 2
Red chilly 2
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
Bay leaves 1
Cashew nut 10
Ghee 2 tsp
Salt for taste
Method:
Fry the cashew nuts in 1 tsp ghee and keep aside.
Soak the 2 cups rice with 4 cups of water in Rice cooker for 10 mins.
In the pan, pour 1 tsp of ghee ,add bay leaves, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, chopped green chilly ,red chilly and fry for few seconds.
Add crushed garlic, salt and fry for 1 minute.
Now Switch on the rice cooker, add this mixture to the rice and stir one time.
After 30 to 40 mins, depending upon the rice cooker, the rice is ready.
Garnish with fried cashew nuts & Serve hot.
