Crispy Bitter-guard Fry

Ingredients:

Bitter guard 1/4 kg

Onion 1

Garlic 3

Mustard seeds 1 tsp

Urad dal 1 tsp

Red Chilly 1

Chilly Powder 1 tsp

Fennel seed powder 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Salt for taste

Oil for Frying


Method:

Cut the bitter guard in round shape and deep fry in oil and keep aside.

In the pan, add mustard seeds, once it crackled ,add urad dal, red chilly, garlic, onions and fry it.

Add chilly powder, fennel seed powder, turmeric powder, salt and fry for few mins.

Add fried bitter guard and fry it in low flame for 4 to 5 mins.

Crispy bitter guard Fry is ready to serve with hot steamed rice.
