Cabbage Poriyal

Ingredients:


Cabbage 1/4 kg

Onion 1/4

Mustard seeds. 1 tsp

Urad dal 1/2 tsp

Green chilly 2

Curry leaves little

Moong dal. 3 tsp

Grated coconut 1/4 cup

Oil 2 tsp

Salt for taste.


Method:

Soak moong dal in water for 30 mins.

Cut the cabbage lengthwise and keep aside.

In the pan, pour oil ,add mustard seeds, once it crackled ,add urad dal ,chopped green chillies ,curry leaves and fry. it.

Add chopped onions ,fry it well.

Add moong dal without water, cook for 1 min.

Add chopped cabbage and salt, mix it well .

Cover cook the cabbage in low flame for 15 mins.

No need to add water.

Last add grated coconut , mix it gently.

After 1 min, switch off the flame & Cabbage poriyal is ready.
