
Ingredients:
Gulab Jamun mix 1 pocket (175 g)
All purpose flour 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Melted butter 1/2 cup
Egg 2
Milk 1 cup
Mixed nuts for garnishing(optional)
For sugar syrup:
Sugar 6 tsp
Water 1 cup
Saffron strands little
Cardamom powder little.
Method:
In the mixing bowl, add melted butter, eggs ,vanilla essence and mix it well.
Add Gulab jamun mix ,and mix it well.
Add powdered sugar. all purpose flour ,baking powder and mix it well.
Add milk little by little and combine well everything together.
Now cake mix is ready.
For sugar syrup , add water, sugar, cardamom powder, saffron and bring to boil.
After 5 to 7 mins, switch off the flame, now sugar syrup is ready.
In the round pan, apply some butter in the bottom ,dust with flour.
Preheat the oven for 350 F.
Pour cake batter, garnish with some nuts and bake for 20 mins.
Check with toothpick it comes clean. Let it wait for 5 mins to cool down.
Fork it with all side of cake ,pour sugar syrup to cake evenly, wait for 30 mins.
Now Gulab Jamun Cake is ready.
If you want more sweet, increase the sugar syrup quantity.
